April Fools... did you work it out?

How many of you got caught out by our April Fools Newsletter? (see below)  I gave you huge clue with the Latin name being Apriliusfoolius but still received a letter form Kathryn P from Marlow saying "whats the world coming to!"

Sorry Kathryn but if it makes you feel better I was also had by Judy Robertson who is the general manager of Diyframing she texted me in the morning to say that she wanted to go part time from immediate effect.... I went bonkers as we were so busy and short staffed how could she be so inconsiderate. Tim the sniggering warehouseman gave it away in the end. Oh well its all over til next year, but I shall return........ Duncan

Stop Press! Can you help following theft at Marlow

hazel and treeStaff at our Marlow shop were shocked following the theft of our highly precious Asian bonsai gold leaf tree. The theft occurred on Saturday when the tree was placed outside in the sun to give the dull looking bush a bit of a boost.

Manager Hazel Coward said " We use the miniature leaves from the tree to repair damaged gold leaf frames, unfortunately the small tree gets a little dull over the winter months so I put it outside to try and liven it up a bit, I only turned my back for a second to take a phone call and it was gone"

Police were informed and have called for anyone with information about the theft to step forward.

The Asian Bonsai gold leaf tree whose Latin name is (apriliusfoolius) is about 12 inches tall and has pure 18 carat leafs no bigger than a cornflake that sprout from the green under growth it takes the tree some 120 years to fully mature and it is valued at several thousand pounds.
